 Born & Early life of Baba Ramdev

Baba Ramdev was born on 25 December 1965 in Syed Pur village of Mahendragarh district of Haryana to father Ramniwas Yadav and mother Gulabo Devi. Both his parents were farmers. He has a brother Ram Bharat who is the CEO of a firm of Patanjali Ayurved Limited. According to his parents, he was very calm in his childhood.

When Ramdev was only 6 years old, he fell from the roof while playing with his sister. He suffered a head injury and was bleeding profusely. He was almost dead, however, after medication, he soon recovered.

When he turned 7 years old, he accidentally went into the deep water of the pond while playing in the pond with his friends and a villager saved him after hearing the cries of children who started drowning in it.

As a child, he was suffering from obesity. Everyone used to tease him for being overweight. When he was 8 years old, he had blisters all over his skin and faced difficulty in walking, then he started practicing yoga to overcome this problem.

When he was in school, one of Ramdev’s teachers used to smoke in his class, which irritated Ramdev. At that time he could not tell that teacher to quit smoking, but later when he became a saint, he used to tell that story to other people while giving speeches on alcohol and tobacco. One day he received a letter in which it was written that his teacher has now given up smoking.

As a child, he suffered a paralytic attack, which affected the left side of his body. He credits yoga for his miraculous recovery from this.

He received his primary education in his hometown and studied till 8th standard after that he joined a Gurukul in Khanpur village to study Sanskrit and Yoga and later he traveled to Jind district and joined Kalwa Gurukul Have become. Gave free yoga training to the villagers of entire Haryana.

After completing his Sanskrit and Yoga education, Baba Ramdev wanted to do something different and for this desire, like Swami Ramtirth, at the age of 25, he left his parents, brothers and all for ever and retired in his youth. He decided to take it and by becoming Ramdev from Ramakrishna, he started his new life by becoming a yoga guru.
