Birth and Early Life of Tabu
Tabu aka Tabassum Fatima Hashmi was born on 4 November 1971 in the family of father Jamal Hashmi and mother Rizwana.
When Tabu was young, her parents got divorced. She hates her father ever since her father left her and never wants to see him again in her life. For them his mother is his father.
He was born in a teacher’s family. His father Jamal Hashmi was an actor and mother was a school teacher. His maternal grandparents were retired professors who ran a school. His grandfather, Mohammad Ahsan, was a mathematics professor, and his grandmother was a professor of English literature.
Due to no connection with the film world, he got the opportunity to act in films very late. His only hope was his aunt Shabana Azmi, then a film actress.
Tabu also has an elder sister who has worked as an actress in films. Earlier, her elder sister Farha rocked the films but could not maintain stardom. Farha left Bollywood after marriage and settled in married life with Dara Singh’s son. Tabu entered after Farha left films.

Tabu and Sanjay Kapoor
Sanjay was cast opposite Tabu in his first film Prem. The two started dating during the making of their film. During the shooting, both of them lived together for most of the time and were enjoying their life.
But all of a sudden what went wrong between the two, due to which suddenly there were cracks in their relationship as both the actors had stopped talking to each other by the end of the shooting of the film.
Sajid Nadiadwala and Tabu
